Why Inside Bottle Temperature Matters
Extreme temperatures, like the highs we are experiencing this summer, can compromise a medication's effectiveness and safety. Traditional plastic pill bottles act like greenhouses (in fact, most modern greenhouses are made with plastic!), trapping heat and failing to protect medications from the scorching heat found in delivery trucks, mailboxes, or patios, which can exceed the safety range for medications by more than +20 degrees.

Paper Insulation = Superior Temperature Stability
In recent testing, Tully Tube's proprietary paper design insulated its contents from the higher external temperatures, keeping inside bottle temperatures cooler than standard plastic pill bottles by a wide margin. Here’s what we found:

Test 1
(115°F ambient temperature):
Tully Tube maintained an internal temperature 16.8°F cooler than the surrounding environment and 12.3°F cooler than plastic pill bottles.

Test 2
(132°F ambient temperature):
Tully Tube kept an internal temperature 14°F cooler than the ambient heat and 23.7°F cooler than plastic pill bottles.
