In medical school, students learn the saying: when you hear hoofbeats, don't expect a zebra. Most diagnoses are common. Rare disease patients are the exception, and Zeal took its name from them: a group of zebras is called a zeal, and no two sets of stripes are alike. Their model follows from the name.
